Cloisonne Tea Cup with Lid

This cloisonne tea cup with lid is hand-crafted in China. Cloisonne is a unique art form that originated in Beijing during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Through a process of filling bronze or brass lattice work with beautiful colored enamels and baking the piece in a smelter at 800 degrees (C) this cloisonne effect is created. Not advised for use with consuming tea.
